Support Coordination

This service is about getting to know you and what you want out of your NDIS Plan. 

Our relationship with you is of utmost importance and it is our responsibility to ensure that your NDIS journey is as seamless as possible.

There are three levels of support that can be included in your plan:

  1. Support Connection – This support is about linking you to the type of providers that really hit the mark and will help meet you meet your life goals.
  2. Support Coordination / Coordination of Supports – This is about assisting you in building your skills to understand and implement your NDIS plan. Our support coordinator will work with you to increase your capacity to maintain relationships, live more independently, and be included in the community.
  3. Specialist Support Coordination – A higher level of support coordination intended     for participants whose situations are more complex and who needs specialist support. Our team have the skills, training, and expertise in assisting you to manage challenges in your support environment and ensure consistent service delivery.

IDEA believes in building your ability to exercise choice and control especially to the     services you receive and your access to your local community.

We will assist you in negotiating with providers about what they will offer you and how much it will cost out of your plan.  We will also assist you in ensuring your plan is optimised so that you can get the most out of your funded support.

We can also assist you in preparation for your plan review.

  3. Specialist Support Coordination – This higher level of support is designed for participants with more complex needs who require specialist assistance. Our team has the skills, training, and expertise to help you navigate challenges in your support environment and ensure consistent service delivery.

IDEA is committed to empowering you to exercise choice and control over the services you receive and your access to your local community.

We will help you negotiate with providers regarding their offerings and costs to ensure your plan is utilized effectively. Additionally, we will assist you in optimizing your plan to maximize the benefits of your funded support.
